Integrity – To focus on a value-centered wholesomeness of individual character in both our private and public lives as a foundation for trust and confidence in our community and Academy.

Friendship – To place a priority on relationships among staff and beneficiaries, realizing that our higher purpose, the spiritual life, can only be lived out through our relationships with each other.

Excellence – To commit to excellence in professional and organizational terms, being strategic in our learning and growth, being transparent in our dealings and decision making, and striking a balance between formality and informality in our work so as to not lose sight of the bigger picture at hand.

In its broadest aspect, Kovich Sports Academy work is linked to sportsmanship, Needy kid’s who seek sports talent development, leadership and spiritual-growth around the principles, precepts and person of Jesus. We seek to do this in way that transcends differences of race, tribe, or political affiliations. We also put a lot of emphasis on long-term commitments to each other, and the preaching of love, respect and integrity.

Our community and Academy program is structured in this stage of a vertically integrated investment in the young people. Invest in a few who will impact MANY.

The Academy is really just the beginning of a long-term relationship with these young people that shall continue on into life with a vision: To create a lifelong brotherhood of friends in the spirit of Jesus that will support each other in a movement of ‘integrity’ So, this dream is steadily a reality. As kid’s grow, many will be in positions of sports influence in our societies. Others in more quiet ways will be making a positive impact on those around them.

Kovich Sports Academy is aimed to be among the longest running youth sports and leadership development initiatives and focusing on transforming the lives of kids from disadvantaged backgrounds through sports. We aim to have an outstanding track record, our kid’s inspiring, influencing, and impacting in nearly every sector of society. All our programs strategically engage under-privileged high-potential kids with a special focus on raising the next great generation thru sports.

This work is to steadily expand to include thousands of young people each year in a variety of programs that include scholarships, sports camps, leadership development trainings, and youth centers, as well as various other mentoring initiatives – all designed for impartation of love, education, and character formation.

Because so many of our young people come from broken homes or lack strong family support – we have to take on an organizational culture that can best be described as a big “family of friends.” And, this means we see relationships as primary and tasks as secondary. In other words – what we aim to do flow out of who we are.
